Description

These high-quality opaque watercolours are made with mica, a natural mineral that gives them a lustrous, metallic sheen. They are great for adding highlights and special effects to watercolour or mixed media projects, as well as for calligraphy.

Features:

• 6 iridescent pearl moiree colour watercolour pans, each approximately 2.5 cm in diameter:60d Atlantic Blue Moiree, 60b Copper Moiree, 60a Jade-Green Moiree, 60e Pink Moiree, 60c Purple Moiree, and 60f Sun Yellow Moiree.
• The watercolours are water-soluble and can be used with brushes and water brushes. They can also be used with pointed and broad-edged dip pens by applying them to the nib with a wet brush.
• Colours are opaque and show up well on light and dark papers.
• The paint is lightfast and mixable with other watercolours.
• Handmade in Germany by the original Finetec manufacturer Finetec GmbH.

 Due to the hand-made production no two colour pots are the same. The colourpots are slightly curved at the bottom which is caused by the natural drying process and can sometimes lead to a little hole appearing in the middle of the colour pot after some use. This is not a defect but a natural occurence.
