An interesting hair with distinctive markings and a semi-stiff firmness of stroke, each tip having the softness of velvet. This hair is responsive and firm, yet delicate to touch. Traditionally used with oil and acrylic, ideal for adding highlights and tonal values. A very resilient hair which wears well.
They are absolutely brilliant for alla prima work, allowing you to work ‘wet on wet’ without pulling the paint away. The hair is responsive and firm, yet gives almost a velvet feel.
