Kevrin mongoose natural hairs offer the resistance and strength of an extra fine bristle combined with the precision, responsiveness and elasticity of sable. This is a fine, oily hair that is as responsive and soft as sable, but with enhanced durability, spring, and a more affordable price.

Kevrin brushes are excellent for detailed brush work and soft glazing in oil or acrylics. They are extremely versatile and are well suited to many techniques and media. Many professional watercolorists have adopted them as a substitute for sable. The hairs resist staining, making them easy to clean and maintain.
