Pastel Paper

A beautiful surface for dry media applications

Sennelier Pastel Card or ‘La carte’ is the perfect paper for all dry drawing techniques: soft pastel, charcoal and graphite. It has a surface that appears lightly sanded. This surface is created with finely ground (pH neutral) natural cork applied to a 360g (pH neutral) board.
Available in 50x65cm sheets as well as pads.
Each pad is top side glue bound for easy sheet removal and includes two sheets each of six assorted neutral colors. Paper is acid-free and lightfast.

Sennelier Velvet paper- as the name suggests, it’s like painting on velvet. It also holds a lot of pastel. It gives your picture a more painted look.

Sennelier Memoire du pastel- probably our most popular pastel paper because it is very affordable. It’s a very standard pastel paper, similar to Canson but a little thicker. 50x65cm sheets available in cream (yellow-ish tint), yellow ochre, brick red, and dove grey.
